Sarah had her baby!

Last week Sarah Stone, one of our midwives, had baby boy William in the blue room. He weighed 8 pounds and 13 ounces - wow! And he's been doing nothing but getting bigger and bigger... so cute! We love you Mama Sarah and are so happy for your growing family :)

We think Sarah looks like she could be the Greek Goddess of Birth in this photo!

As of right now, we have reached our capacity for October, so we are unable to accept any additional new clients with a due date in that month.  If you're still interested in potentially becoming our patient and have an October due date, please come to an orientation. Once you've attended an orientation, you can call us and we would be happy to put you on our wait-list. If we have an opening, then we'll give you a call! Additionally, we can give you the names of other local practices that we can refer you to for maternity care.

Late Start Today, Thursday, February 23

Our clinic will start at 9:10am instead of 8:30am. For those of you with 8:30am or 8:50am appointments, we're trying to call you to reschedule. If you make it at 8:30am or 8:50am for your appointment, there will still be a midwife to see you.

The lunchtime orientation will still happen at 12:30pm.

UPDATE... In addition to the below, DORA (the Department of Regulatory Affairs) makes the argument that depending on the wording and definition of "renewal date," renewal dates would be defined as the first premium due date occurring on or after January 1, 2011. If you think you might have a case for maternity coverage of your current pregnancy, file a complaint with DORA (see link below)! We've had a great deal of success getting maternity benefits for patients who were previously denied.
